Supporting Our ADF Veterans: DVA Services
At Care Beyond Limits, we are a DVA-contracted Community Nursing provider supporting current and former Australian Defence Force (ADF) members and eligible veterans. Our registered and enrolled nurses deliver clinically required nursing and personal care in your own home, funded by DVA for eligible Veteran Card holders.

What is DVA Community Nursing?
As a DVA-contracted Community Nursing provider, Care Beyond Limits Perth delivers clinically required nursing and personal care in the homes of eligible veterans. Our registered nurses help you stay well and independent at home, and avoid unnecessary hospital or residential aged care.
Our DVA Community Nursing services include
- Wound care
- Medication administration and management
- Catheter care (IDC and suprapubic)
- Continence support
- Palliative care
- Complex health monitoring
- Personal care and hygiene support
- Post-hospital recovery support
Who Can Access DVA Services?
DVA Community Nursing is available to eligible DVA Veteran Card holders. Gold Card holders are covered for their assessed clinical and personal care needs; White Card holders are covered for accepted conditions. There is no cost for services that meet your assessed needs. Access is by written referral from your GP, hospital discharge planner, or nurse practitioner.
Eligible groups include:
- DVA Gold Card holders — for assessed clinical and personal care needs
- DVA White Card holders — for accepted conditions
- Referral required from a GP (valid 12 months), hospital discharge planner, or nurse practitioner
- No cost for services that meet your assessed needs

- Domestic help such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and household chores
- Community access & social support to stay connected and engaged
- Respite care for families and carers
- Home & safety modifications to support independence
